What's it like being a college scout for NSR?
Are you ready to step into a career that leaves an indelible impact on the lives of young athletes? If so then your search ends with National Scouting Report (NSR), the best of athletic scouting organizations since 1980. We're on a mission to find dynamic individuals like you to grow our team of scouts and drive the course of college recruiting.
At NSR, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of excellence. We are seeking individuals who embody our commitment to quality in every aspect of their work. Whether you're yearning for a full-time profession or a college, high school, club, or travel coach seeking a rewarding off-season pursuit, NSR presents pathways tailored to your circumstances and future ambitions.
Being an NSR College Scout, you will be at the forefront of the athlete identification and evaluation process, drawing upon your insights into an athlete’s ability, academics, and character to select promising prospects. Your role will involve interviewing recruitable student-athletes and their families, enrolling them into the most suitable NSR program, and working closely with the NSR Recruiting Team to ensure that the athletes receive ample attention from college coaches and are equipped to navigate the recruiting process.
The best part? You’re not stuck at a desk all day. As an NSR College scout, you’re out there in the thick of it – games, matches, you name it. Finding the next athlete with the ability and dream to play in college is what you’ll be doing. So, if you love the thrill of being in the action, this is for you. Preparation is a sign of professionalism, and we believe in preparing our scouts by providing comprehensive training and ongoing support. You'll receive the necessary tools, knowledge, and coaching to become an expert in scouting and college recruiting. With your dedication and determination, you'll earn the respect of coaches and athletes in your area, making a lasting impact on their lives. If you're seeking a full-time career in scouting, this role offers an unparalleled opportunity.
But even if you cannot commit to being a full-time NSR College Scout there may still be an opportunity for you as an NSR Associate Scout. As an NSR Associate Scout, you'll be the catalyst for identifying and pinpointing prospective athletes. Your role will include collecting athlete data and writing thorough scouting reports, which will assist NSR Scouts in their overall assessments. If you have a keen eye for talent and a strong understanding of the sports landscape, this role will enable you to channel your passion and contribute significantly to the success of our athletes.
One of the best parts of being an NSR College Scout or NSR Associate Scout is you have the potential to control your own income as an independent contractor. Your hard work and outstanding results directly translate into personal and financial rewards. Being a part of NSR is a big deal – it’s not for everyone, just like not every athlete gets to be an NSR prospect. We want the best of the best, and we think that could be you. So, what are you waiting for? Get on board and let’s change the game in college recruiting. Together, we’re gonna make dreams into reality!
